The end of the school year is finally here. High school students are busy building their cardboard boats for the annual Cardboard Regatta. High school students are required, as part of the science curriculum, to build a boat out of nothing but cardboard sturdy enough to hold one student. These boats compete in a race at the end of the year pool party. Middle and elementary students are grouped with a high school boat, and they show their support for their boats by making banners and cheering on their chosen boats. If you have not attended this event, it is something to see. Everyone has tons of fun.
